Product Description

The ARO Orbit PRO™ PortaStack Upgrade Kit converts an existing ARO Orbit PRO™ for compatibility with the ARO PortaStack system. This kit replaces the standard magnetic sleeve used for connection with an espresso basket with a magnetic docking sleeve, allowing the Orbit PRO™ to dock directly to the ARO® PortaFunnel – PortaStack Edition.

This upgrade is intended for customers who already own a standalone Orbit PRO™ and want to integrate it into the PortaStack workflow without purchasing a new tool.

  • Guided Pin Entry During Placement: The large PortaFunnel opening creates a forgiving target that ensures all pins enter the basket cleanly, reducing the risk bent pins during placement.
  • Contained, Spill-Free Distribution: Using the PortaFunnel keeps grounds fluffed above the basket contained, eliminating spillover when the tool is removed to reduce mess.
  • Durable Aluminum Construction: Crafted from aluminum to ensure strength and longevity. Finished with a premium, scratch-resistant satin anodize.

Compatibility

The ARO Orbit PRO™ PortaStack Upgrade Kit is compatible with existing ARO Orbit PRO™ tools in the corresponding size (58mm or 54mm).

PortaFunnel Required: The ARO® PortaFunnel – PortaStack Edition is required for use with this upgrade kit. If you do not already own a compatible PortaFunnel, you must add one to your order: ARO® PortaFunnel – PortaStack Edition

Size Matching: You must use the same size Orbit PRO™, upgrade kit, and PortaFunnel.

Set-Up Instructions

  1. Unscrew and remove the existing magnetic sleeve from your ARO Orbit PRO™.
  2. Remove the original short pins from the tool.
  3. Install 10 of the longer pins included in this upgrade kit.
  4. Screw on the PortaStack-compatible magnetic docking sleeve included in the kit.
  5. Store the upgraded tool in the extra-tall stand included.

Care and Maintenance

Brush off loose grounds after use or wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The sleeve may be removed for cleaning if needed. Hand wash only with mild soap and lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly. Not dishwasher safe.
