Expand the versatility of your Niche Zero with the ARO® Aluminum Single Dose Hopper. The included adapter replaces the grinder's stock clear cover, allowing you to choose between a compact bellows-only setup for everyday single dosing or add the aluminum hopper when you need extra capacity.
Use the bellows only for doses up to 30g and a lower-profile setup, or add the aluminum hopper for up to 90g of total capacity. The high-capacity configuration is ideal for filter coffee, grinding a full pot, or preparing multiple espresso doses at once.
The solid aluminum hopper features an integrated anti-popcorn baffle for smoother bean feeding, while the durable silicone bellows helps purge retained grounds after grinding. Installation is simple: remove the stock clear cover, install the included adapter in its place, and secure it with the single screw.

- Easy Installation: The included adapter replaces the Niche Zero's stock clear cover and secures in place with a single screw. Once installed, you can quickly switch between bellows-only and hopper + bellows configurations.
Installation Instructions
Be sure to check the product images above for a visual guide to installation and use.
- Remove the Stock Cover: Remove the Niche Zero's clear plastic cover by removing the single screw securing it to the grinder.
- Install the Adapter: Position the included adapter in place of the stock cover.
- Secure the Adapter: Reinstall and tighten the single screw to securely attach the adapter to the grinder.
- Choose Your Configuration: Place the silicone bellows directly onto the adapter for compact single dosing, or insert the aluminum hopper and place the bellows on top for additional capacity.
Once the adapter is installed, there is no need to remove it when switching between configurations.

Usage Instructions
Be sure to check the product images above for additional visuals showing both configurations.
- Choose Your Setup: Use the bellows directly on the adapter for doses up to 30g, or install the aluminum hopper for doses up to 90g.
- Load Your Beans: Weigh your desired dose and pour the beans into the bellows-only opening or aluminum hopper.
- Install the Bellows: Place the silicone bellows on top of the adapter or aluminum hopper.
- Grind: Start the grinder and allow the beans to feed through normally.
- Purge the Grinder: Once the beans have finished grinding, pump the silicone bellows to help purge retained grounds. This works best while the grinder is still running. Use the palm of your hand to compress the entire bellows for maximum airflow.

The Full Kit provides the most flexibility and includes everything needed to use both configurations shown in the product images:

Use the aluminum hopper + bellows for up to 90g of capacity, or remove the hopper and place the bellows directly on the adapter for a compact, low-profile setup with up to 30g of capacity. Switching between the two configurations takes only a few seconds, and the adapter can remain installed on the grinder.
Low-Profile Kit: Bellows + Adapter
The Low-Profile Kit is designed for customers who primarily single dose and do not need the additional capacity of the aluminum hopper. It includes:
- Niche Zero adapter
- Food-safe silicone bellows
This configuration holds up to 30g and keeps the grinder as compact as possible. It is also a lower-cost option if you do not expect to grind larger doses.
If you purchase the Low-Profile Kit and decide you want the additional capacity later, please contact us to purchase the aluminum hopper separately.

The system can be configured several ways depending on your desired capacity and available clearance:
- Stock Niche Zero with cover closed: 12.25" (311mm)
- Adapter only: 12.25" (311mm)
- Bellows only: 13.75" (349mm)
- Hopper + bellows, to top of aluminum hopper: 14.75" (375mm)
- Hopper + bellows, to top of bellows: 15.75" (400mm)
The bellows-only configuration is ideal when you want to maintain a lower profile or have limited clearance underneath cabinets.

The 30g configuration is ideal for everyday single dosing, while the 90g configuration provides the flexibility to grind larger filter doses, a full pot of coffee, or multiple espresso doses without repeatedly reloading the grinder.
Care and Maintenance
For daily maintenance, simply brush away any loose grounds and wipe the components clean with a soft cloth.
For a more thorough cleaning, remove the aluminum hopper and silicone bellows. The hopper and bellows may be hand washed with lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinstalling. Wipe the adapter clean as needed.
