It works pretty well most of the time to save my eyes from Timemore's poor design choice. If I have to be nitpicking: the magnet is not very strong and it's easy to fell or move when touched, even slightly. And given the knocker's location, it's quite easy to touch the pointer.

Great product. could use a little bit stronger magnet, but overall very happy.
Simple and works like a charm. Now I know precisely what dial setting I’m on. I haven’t had any issues with the pointer falling off.

Extremely happy with both the Magnetic Dial Pointer and the service from ARO Espresso. Great workmanship and a very practical tool.
The Timemore Sculptor is an amazing machine. However, the keen eyed folks at Aro Espresso spotted a small oversight and fill it perfectly with their indicator pointer. The magnet is just strong enough to hold well yet pull away before bending the tiny pointing tip.
They also thoughtfully include a holder should you want to store it away. Lovely addition to a spectacular grinder.

Magnet is extremely weak, the slightest touch causes it to fall off. Definitely not the best user experience.
Well it looks cool. And makes it easier to see my grind adjustment. But if I breathe on it to hard it falls off.... Maybe someone forgot to put the strong magnets in it?
Dial indicator works perfectly. I lost the first one I purchased while cleaning, so I bought another. It's that good!
Without this pointer the required precision is difficult to achieve. This does the job perfectly. RECOMMENDATION: lightly rock the dial back and forth and use the center of its range as your “setting”. Check the threaded pin under the dial occasionally to make sure it’s tight, otherwise you’re not getting the full benefit of the Arp pointer.
Beautifullly made pointer in its own case. Absolutely fantastic and does the intended job with perfect accuracy. Personally speaking this is the best pointer available due to the sharp tip which makes minute grind size adjustments simple. Timemore themselves should be ordering these to ship with the grinder as an OEM item.
I really love this little guy! It LOOKS like it is a factory part...and it should have been!
It makes grind adjustments really obvious and precise, taking the parallax guesswork out of the process of making accurate and repeatable settings.
The magnetic attachment is very strong and the quality and aesthetics of the pointer are very pleasing.
Oh.....and I really appreciate the sturdy protective case that it arrived in.
I can't wait for Aro Espresso to get their Timemore anti-popcorning hopper to market.
